Recoleta room for tourists

Ines (60) is a retired psychologist, who has a spacious apartment in Recoleta with a private room for one or two women to rent for up to two weeks.  She is fluent in Spanish and French, and manages with English if you speak slowly.  She is available as your personal guide to the city and take you anywhere you want to go.  I know Ines, and she is always happy and fun to be with.  We have attended concerts together for several years at Teatro Colon, Centro Cultural Kirchner, La Usina del Arte, and Congreso Nacional.

The classic room of 12m2 has two single beds, a clothing rack, a bookcase, a computer desk and a chair.  It has an air-conditioning unit for the summer.  There is a window that brings natural light inside the room.

The apartment is on Uriburu between Santa Fe Av. y Marcelo T. Alvear, in the center of Recoleta.

Nice single room to rent in 70-year-old building in Recoleta neighborhood, just 3 blocks from subway Station Pueyrredon, line D with many convenient bus lines nearby.

There is a charming living room with a sofa, and a coffee table.

In the dining room has a table with 6 chairs.  There is another table in the sunny kitchen for breakfast.

A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal, containing an oven, a stove top, a refrigerator with freezer, a coffee maker, and all kitchen utensils.

The shared bathroom has a bathtub with shower hose, toilet and sink.

Rent includes all expenses (utilities, internet access, change of sheets and towels, weekly cleaning service) and personal guide services with Ines to all the places you want to visit during your stay.

Rent also includes full use of the home’s facilities:

  • The kitchen, where you’ll have a separate place in the fridge and kitchen cupboard for your food.

Recoleta is one of the city of Buenos Aires’ most culturally and historically important neighborhoods, and for this reason many visitors choose to rent rooms in Recoleta. Here you can visit: the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Fine Arts Museum); the Museo Prohibido no Tocar (the “Not Touching is Prohibited” Museum); Plaza Francia with its weekend crafts fair;  the Cementerio de Recoleta (Recoleta Cemetery), with Evita’s famous tomb; the Iglesia del Pilar (del Pilar Church), which is the second-oldest in the city; and the Café La Biela, among other attractions like the French Embassy and La Mansion of the Four Seasons Hotel.  The book & CD store El Ateneo Gran Splendid with its own cafe is three blocks away.  Recoleta is an elegant neighborhood with historical European architecture.

Two women or married couple – $35USD per night

No advance deposit required to reserve the room.  A small security deposit is due upon arrival and returned at the end of your stay.  Payment is charged the day of arrival in dollars (new and clean bills).
