The most expensive milonga in Buenos Aires isn’t really a milonga

I was browsing the most complete and current source of milonga information for Buenos Aires — hoy-milonga.com — and discovered a new one that opened in September and that charges 100 pesos and lasts only 90 minutes!  You have to buy tickets in advance for it.  There is a one hour class before the milonga.  I doubt that La Milonga de Niceto stays in business for very long.  You will not find any milongueros there, so it’s not really a milonga.

Here in the UK, such an event is called a mishorta. 🙂

It follows a class, so it should really be called a practica.
