Cumbre de Tango

Cumbre de Tango on Mundo Sur FM has been broadcast from Buenos Aires for eight months to a worldwide audience on Sunday morning.  I was there today for the last program of 2012.

Juan Jose Piccini

Pichi has his own Saturday morning radio program for many years. His participation with Cumbre de Tango certainly proves how much he loves tango.  He and Tito Aquino, the producer, are taking off the month of January for vacation.

Carlos Fanel

Carlos prepared the playlist for today’s program.  The topic of discussion today was — do you like tango electronico?  I, of course, do not.  The musical structure is nothing like tango, so it isn’t real tango.

Fidel Paternostro

A listener from Italy joined us today.  Fidel is Argentine and lives near Modena.  We danced tangos of Carlos Di Sarli in the studio for our viewing audience via ustream, a regular part of the program.

I am grateful to play a small role in this unique tango radio program. We spoke in three languages today and danced for a worldwide audience. We hope you will be listening and watching the program in the new year.
