Oscar Lázaro Molinari

March 14, 1928 – March 15, 2012

The most interesting thing about Oscar was that he was a certified English translator and worked at one time for Alito’s mother.  He met an American woman in the milongas and lived in California for several years.  They returned to Buenos Aires and renovated an old house in Montserrat.

Oscar lived for many months in the hospital waiting for an operation.  I took Alito for visits.  They knew each other as boys.  My last visit with Oscar was February 11.  He was always in a good mood considering the circumstances.  The last time I went to the hospital I discovered he was in intensive care.  His daughter called me today with the news.
