Osvaldo Ruben Bottino

November 18, 1931 – July 20, 2011

He was known as “El Colorado” in the milongas for the red hair he once had.  Oscar Hector Malagrino paid tribute to him on September 15, 2010, in Club Glorias Argentinas where Osvaldo danced tango for the last time.

Osvaldo lived in a geriatric residence at Balcarce and San Juan in San Telmo for the past year, where he could come and go as he pleased.  His daughter Silvia Marcela lives in La Plata.  He wanted me to film him dancing so that he could give his daughter something with which to remember him.

Osvaldo, Alito Candamil, and Ricardo Vidort were always together in the milongas. They were known as The Three Musketeers.
